Display Cases for the Metro Diner
A couple of years ago, Borders Woodworks built a custom display case to hold t-shirts and other promotional merchandise for the new Metro Diner that opened in Julington Creek. About a year later, we built another one for their store opening up in Jax Beach.
Being a small local business, we are proud to have these display cases as examples of our work, in these unique Jacksonville restaurants.
The Metro Diner has built a solid reputation for serving a variety of good food at reasonable prices, and now has three locations in Jacksonville – the original in San Marco, the Diner in Mandarin, and the one in Jacksonville Beach, serving up breakfast and lunch daily, from 6:30 AM until 2:30 PM.
Their signature dishes range from Cinnamon Raisin Pecan French Toast and a delicious variety of versions of Eggs Benedict and 3 Egg Omelets for breakfast, to the Fried Chicken and Waffles, hearty salads, and memorable Sandwiches and Burgers served at lunch. And the Metro Diner also provides catering services.
Here’s a video clip about their great Meatloaf, from when the Metro Diner was recently featured on Food Network’s “Diners, Drive-ins and Dives”, with Guy Fieri.
